Course details

The main aim of this course is to introduce students to the history and practice of environmental impact assessment, providing them with knowledge of when an assessment is necessary and the stages involved in producing one.

The course will draw on students existing knowledge of land management, but will also introduce students to the social and economic aspects of the process.

The course can be taken as part of the Diploma in Field and Conservation Ecology or as a stand-alone course and is accredited at 10 credits, CQFW level 5.
