From the large scale to the detail, students develop a deep understanding of intra-disciplinary approaches to the design, adaptation and management of our living environment.

Throughout the course students are encouraged to challenge existing orthodoxies and to explore potential, cultural and technical responses to a changing world, whilst respecting the limits posed by our ecosystem.

Studying this module as a short course enables the participant to become part of the wider network of masters students working in the field of sustainability.

The networking opportunities are excellent.

Students will gain a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of how we are effected by and how we affect our environment.

It will enable students to take a solutions focussed perspective on the future, and give them the knowledge needed to make ethical decisions on an individual, community and global level.

This course is developed and led by tutors from CAT’s Graduate School of the Environment.
